It’s the next big MCU movie. On February 17, 2023, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be released in French cinemas. After a half-hearted year 2022, Marvel will try to give new impetus to its cinematic universe by building on a superhero that has always been beloved by fans.
Ant-Man has become a real star
The one who embodies it wonderfully, Paul Rudd, precisely participated in the last Comic Con in Brazil to promote this feature film. He was notably asked about the state of mind of Scott Lang (the civil name of Ant-Man) when the story of this new component starts. Here is what he replied:
A lot has changed for him since the last movie, that’s for sure. First, we saved the universe. This had never happened. So now, a lot has happened since the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp (previous Ant-Man movie released in 2018 Ed). I think Scott is trying to figure out where he’s going in life now. He is still very close to his daughter and he looks forward to what’s next.
And the Hollywood star to add: “Only, as in life, the future never corresponds to what we really expect. Very quickly, a chain of events occurs and we are immersed in a story much bigger than we could imagine”.
Paul Rudd masters the art of teasing perfectly. With his statement, he manages to make our mouths water, without saying too much at the risk of spoilers. A new big bad for the MCU
In addition to this highly anticipated return of the Marvel superhero, this sequel will also highlight the new big MCU villain supposed to replace Thanos: Kang the Conqueror. Actor Jonathan Majors, who was cast in the role, recently shared of his recognition at the Disney studio.
