WhatsApp introduces chat shopping in India

Meta introduced the first eshopping experience in whatsapp messaging app.which already allows people in India to buy products from a supermarket, as part of the company’s plans to help the country’s digital transformation.

Meta has partnered with the company of Indian e-commerce company JioMart to introduce shopping via WhatsApp, as confirmed by CEO Mark Zuckerberg on his Facebook profile.

This alliance aims to acceleration of digital transformation India, and allows JioMart to display a catalog of its products on the messaging app, where users can select the product they want, the quantity they want to receive, and see the price.
