WhatsApp, Meta’s messaging service that remains the most widely used in the world, launched a new tool so that all its users can post photos, audios or videos in your statuses and share them privately and only with some contacts.
This new option for user states offers the possibility of set the display of this content to only a select group of contactsdepending on what is diagrammed by the account holder himself.
How to activate hidden states in WhatsApp
Beyond being able to customize the states of the users, it must be taken into account that the published content will be automatically deleted after 24 hours.
Then the detailed step by step to post “secret statuses” on WhatsApp:
- Open the app
- Go to the “WhatsApp States” option
- Select the content you want to share and then, at the bottom of the screen, select the “contacts” tab
- Once there, choose with whom you want to share the states. In this step, you should opt for the option to exclude everyone except someone
- Then you have to select the person and, immediately afterwards, publish the content
- It is worth remembering that voice messages can also be used in WhatsApp states
