WhatsApp is working on the implementation of the multi-device function in its enterprise application, which includes a new design and a subscription plan to expand the number of devices that can be used on the same account.
WhatsApp Business is preparing a new design for Related devices (“Linked Devices”), the form that the multi-device feature takes in this Service. Thanks to it, different devices can be used simultaneously on the same account, so that different employees can contact customers at the same time in the same chat.
Multi-device mode supports up to four devices connected to the accountbut, as announced by the WABetainfo portal, WhatsApp Business will be able to up to ten with a subscription in development.
This site subscription, totally optional, would offer features and additional functions to those already offered for free by the application. It is envisioned as a professional version similar to the Twitter Blue service.
The payment plan is currently in developmentaccording to the website. It is not yet available in the Business app, but will be in a future beta update for Android and iOS.
