Element present in previous versions of WhatsApp, the translucent top bar is back to reality in the app interface on iOS. The change, which was left out of the update changelog, was noticed by the WABetaInfo portal in the current version of the messenger, 23.13.80, already available in the App Store.
Retouching the interface is a more modern design option, following trends that value lightness. Similar option was already present in versions of the app years ago, but they were removed in favor of some other general changes. Transparency is discreet, as can be seen in the images below, and does not sacrifice reading information in the field.
WhatsApp has not officially released the news in the update notes and should not do so soon considering it is just a detail.
It is worth noting that you may need to restart the application once after installing this update. And if it hasn’t arrived yet, just wait a little longer to see if the package has arrived for your device.
