While working to end nuisance calls, WhatsApp beta is getting another update this Saturday with another very important feature.

According to WABetaInfo, it will soon be possible to Report inappropriate messages to group admins. The feature is present in the beta version for Android 2.23.10.8.

The novelty works in a simple way: when finding a problematic message, the user just needs to tap on it and choose the option to forward the complaint to the group administrator.

As seen above, this feature will be available in the group settings section, and only administrators can activate it.

Once activated, the feature creates a kind of effective group moderation. With this, any problem can be resolved in a simple and easy way, since administrators can choose to delete inappropriate messages and even warn the author of the content.

All reported messages will be available to the administrator in a specific tab of the application, located in the group’s information.

For now, the feature is rolling out slowly and gradually to the Android beta audience. On another front, WhatsApp has also been slowly rolling out the new bottom navigation bar interface on Android.
