WhatsApp has been using the same interface for a while, but fortunately, Meta is currently working on a redesign of its app, which will mark the arrival of the navigation bar.
In the latest WhatsApp beta version 2.23.8.4 on Android, WABetaInfo discovered that Meta has significantly changed the interface of the main messaging app, adding a navigation bar to the bottom of the screen.
This new feature comes after WhatsApp previously added several interesting new features to its app, including The ability to lock your conversations with your fingerprintor even A text editor similar to the one in Snapchat or Instagram.

WhatsApp gets a new interface
As screenshots from WABetaInfo show, WhatsApp is developing a modified interface for the app that features a navigation bar. Thanks to this navigation bar, it will definitely be easier for the users to navigate between the different sections of the app as they can be easily accessed from the bottom of the screen.
There is a tab for conversations, one for communities, one for status and one for calls. On the current interface, these different categories can be accessed at the top of the screen, which isn’t always practical since they don’t easily fall under your finger. By placing it more prominently at the bottom, WhatsApp may hope to improve the user experience.

The revised UI, which includes the bottom navigation bar, is still under development and will be rolled out to everyone in an upcoming app update. However, as always, the feature may remain in beta for a few more months. The iOS beta app, for example, has yet to receive the functionality, which could indicate that the Android app will be the first to take advantage of it in a stable release.
