A very interesting feature that is currently being tested on WhatsApp will make it possible pin a message to the top of the conversationmaking it easier to see. As seen by staff at WABetaInfothis functionality appeared in the most recent beta version of the messenger for iOS.
As shown in the screenshot below, the option will be displayed when you keep your finger pressed on a message, in its contextual menu. When accessing it, the user can define the time that the message will remain fixed among the available options (24 hours, 7 days or 30 days).
Even if a message is pinned for a certain period, it will be possible to remove it from the top of the chat at any time, as also indicated in the screenshot. Furthermore, also according to the WABetaInfothis feature will be available for both individual and group chats.
There is no information on when the new feature will be officially available to everyone, but it should happen soon.
