After the victory achieved by Los Pumitas against Japan (45-20) in the M20 World Cup that takes place in South Africa, the Argentine youth team will have one more commitment in the contest. Those led by Álvaro Galindo from Tucumán will close their participation in the tournament, in which they have already secured their presence in the 2024 edition, next Friday, starting at 9:30 a.m. (Argentina time), against Fiji.
Argentines and Fijians will settle the ninth place in the competition and it can be followed through the Star+ platform.
The last day of the M20 World Cup will begin at 7 in the morning, with Italy, who lost to Fiji and Japan. The winner of that match will maintain the category, while the other selected must play the M20 Rugby Trophy next season.
From 9, Australia will face Wales for fifth place and Georgia and New Zealand will battle for seventh place from 12.
For a place on the podium, South Africa will face England at 11.30, while the final will be between Ireland, who beat the locals 31-12, and France, who defeated England 52-31, from 2pm. All the parties are expressed in Argentine time.
