Like his colleagues, he wears a badge with his name and even has an email address! “This is the first time in France that a hospital has recruited a dog, full-time, in a care unit, to bring a little gentleness in the difficult and uncertain moments of the illness, or during waiting times that are always too long in consultation or during hospitalization,” explains the Institut Curie for whom “Reducing patients’ stress and anxiety is fundamental. » Caregivers “are also very sensitive to the presence of Snoopy who brightens up their often complex daily lives.”
