When criticized, Vijay came to see Devarakonda in person; The theater owner apologized

Directed by Puri Jagannath and starring Vijay Deverakonda, Ligar was released on August 25. The film has been released in 3000 screens in India and is getting lukewarm response.

In a situation where there is severe criticism against the film, it was news that a prominent theater owner in Mumbai came forward against the actor. Manoj Desai, executive director of Maratha Mandir movie, came forward with criticism. Now the actor has reached Mumbai to meet the theater owner in person. Manoj Desai also apologized for his remarks about the actor

‘He is a humble and good man. There is a good future. I will accept all his films from now on. I have apologized to only two actors. One is Amitabh Bachchan and the other is Vijay Devarakonda’ – said Manoj Desai.

The film was mired in controversies just before its release. There were calls to boycott the film after Vijay put his foot on the table during the press conference. Manoj Desai said that Vijay’s behavior has affected the film badly. Manoj Desai alleged that Vijay said boycott our film when the boycott campaign was going on.

“Why are you showing so much power by saying boycott the movie? If you do this no one will watch your movie even in OTT. Due to this arrogance, the film’s advance bookings were affected. It has us in trouble. Intelligence does not work when it is on the verge of destruction. That is what you are doing now. It is better for you to make movies in Tamil and Telugu,” he said.

One of the producers of the film is Karan Johar. Karan faced severe criticism regarding the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. From that day onwards, there were boycott calls asking not to watch Karan’s film. Karan’s detractors have also come forward as a boycott call against Ligar.
