This Wednesday, the Plaza & Janés/Penguin Random House publishing group announced that on October 26 Britney Spears’ memoirs will be published in paper, digital and audiobook formats. The woman in me (The woman I am) will go on sale that same day in both Europe and Latin America.
According to the EFE news agency, the 41-year-old singer’s memoirs will be released first in Spain and are expected to arrive in Latin American and North American bookstores the same day. In any case, the publishers recognized that there could be changes in dates in some countries.
According to the statement, The Woman I Am is “a brave and incredibly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith and hope.”
The book will frankly and humorously recount much of the life of the pop princess with the aim of “illustrating the enduring power of music and love, and the importance of a woman finally telling her own story, in their own terms.”
This new installment will highlight the legal problems Britney faced in 2021 in court over the controversial guardianship of her father, who controlled her finances and personal life for 14 years.
