A dramatic accident occurred this Wednesday morning in Hechtel-Eksel, in Limburg. A 15-year-old girl, who was cycling to school, was knocked down by a school bus, say our colleagues from HLN. According to the first elements, the accident would be linked to the blind spot. The bus would have turned right on the roundabout without seeing that the young cyclist was there.
The students of Don Bosco, the college where the young girl was educated, were informed of the tragic accident. “The management assists the other students as much as possible”, states the city on its website. After being closed to traffic for the time of the first investigations, the Don Bosco College roundabout is once again open to traffic.
