Whitney Releases New Song 'Kansas': Catch Their Latest Music on All Platforms

Whitney have returned to the scene this week with the premiere of a new song titled Kansas.

This single marks the new material from the Chicago duo since they released SPARK in 2022, although it was actually recorded in the sessions where Whitney record Forever Turned Around (2019). Kansas It is co-produced with Brad Cook, Jonathan Rado and Ziyad Asrar and can now be heard on the main digital platforms.

On this new theme, the American band led by Julien Ehrlich y Max Kakacek comments the following: “We started working on ‘Kansas’ in early 2017 during the Forever Turned Around writing sessions. The initial idea had a couple of mutations, but eventually we completely rewrote it to make it the lead track on LP2. At some point during tour rehearsals in 2022, we decided to include the original, unfinished version of ‘Kansas’ in the set list to see how people would react to it, and it quickly became a centerpiece. So in March of this year we finished writing and recording ‘Kansas’ just as originally envisioned, and we’re excited to finally release it.“
