WHO and EIB Global Partner to Strengthen Public Health in Lebanon

Strengthening public health across Lebanon, World Health Organization Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and European Investment Bank Vice-President Thomas Östros signed a €10 million grant agreement on March 6, 2025, at the EIB Group Forum in Luxembourg to re-establish the Central Public Health Laboratory and support chronic disease care.
