The Government of Peru started the delivery of food bonus 2022 which started in September. It is an economic benefit of 270 soles that is aimed at the most vulnerable people in the country. This was announced by Julio Demartini Montes, general director of Design and Articulation of Social Benefits of the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion (Midis).

The Midis spokesman reported that the delivery will be made in two stages or sections. The first began last Monday, August 15, with the delivery of an extraordinary subsidy, in addition to the one they already receive, for all the beneficiaries of the Juntos, Pension 65 and Contigo programs.
“Each of these users, according to their program, will receive an allocation, in addition to the one they already receive, of 200, 250 and 300 soles, respectively.”, he indicated. Then a second stage will come with the food bonus. “For the second tranche, which we could call food bonus as such, there were 30 days to regulate, which was completed at the end of August, and therefore in September the second tranche of beneficiaries would already be receiving this food bonus, which is be 270 soles”, said.
WHERE WILL THE YANAPAY 2022 FOOD BONUS BE PAID?
Demartini said that with the experience of the Yanapay bonus, which reached 14 million people nationwide, an important strategic ally for the delivery of this subsidy is the Banco de la Nación, in its different modalities, to which the entities have joined. private finance.
When asked if it will be mandatory to have a bank account, the official replied that one of the modalities that has already been activated with the Banco de la Nación is the DNI account. “Every beneficiary with a DNI will already have this system active to be able to collect“, said.
He also added that there are other mechanisms activated for the beneficiaries of social programs such as payment offices, window payments and agents of the Banco de la Nación.
HOW MANY CITIZENS WILL RECEIVE THE YANAPAY 2022 FOOD BONUS?
In the first section, which was directed to social programs, there was an average of 600,000 beneficiaries of the Together and With You programs, who receive it individually. Thus, there are more than 600,000 households in the Together program.
And in the second section, with the food voucher as such, “we are going to reach more than 6 million people nationwide individually”.
