Recently, Rodman was asked who he considered to have been the three players who had the hardest time defending or who were the toughest to defend. And to generate some controversy, Rodman did not include Jordan on this list, whom he faced for several years wearing the colors of the Detroit Pistons.

In an interview given to the YouTube channel LifeSpeaks Media Group, Rodman commented on what in his opinion were the three toughest players he faced in his career. “Shaquille O’Neal has a problem with me. Because, you know, I’m probably the only guy that could stop him, but he’s at the top of my list,” Rodman admitted.

“On this list there has to be a man like Alonzo Mourning, ours was literally personal. He hated me because I got in his head all the time,” Rodman added. “Karl Malone, I already love him, he used to go out with my sister. Karl Malone was great because he was tough as hell. I would call these three guys the toughest,” the former Bulls player added.

In the same interview, Rodman admitted that he had an affair with the current owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jeanie Buss, who years later would be the partner of Phil Jackson, Rodman’s coach at the Bulls.
