Dozens – possibly hundreds – of Russian soldiers were killed in a rocket attack on an occupied city in the Donetsk region on Monday. Meanwhile, Kiev reports that it has dealt another heavy blow to the Russians with more than “500 dead and injured” in the Kherson region. Prominent Russian military bloggers are furious – and it is notable that their anger is largely directed at the military leadership. But Moscow is trying to pin the blame on local authorities in Donetsk.
