The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister MR, Sophie Wilmès, announced her decision to go “immediately” on leave from her ministerial duties to “be present” alongside her husband, Christopher, who is battling brain cancer.
Since 2002, Sophie Wilmès has been married to Christopher Stone, an Australian from Tasmania. Together they have three daughters. Christopher also has a son from a previous union. “The six of us still live together”confided the Minister of Foreign Affairs in an interview given to Paris Match in August 2020.
