Medina Roa is a young man of just 19 years of age from Falcón and for some time he has been developing in Argentine basketball. He first arrived in March 2022 at the Arquitecturas club in the south of the continent and for some time he moved to the Regatas club.

In November 2021, Medina Roa was invited to the national team practices prior to the start of the 2023 World Cup Qualifiers. There he was evaluated by the coaching staff and had his first training sessions with the senior team.

In November of last year, the young Medina Roa was again called for the team’s training, only this time he would be one of those chosen by Duró for the games of the fifth FIBA ​​window of the American qualifiers for the World Cup in Japan. Philippines and Indonesia.

Precisely in that window, Medina Roa would see his first minutes with the Venezuelan shirt, becoming the 242 rookie in the history of the senior team and number 25 in the Fernando Duró cycle in command of the “Vinotinto de las Alturas”.
