Who is Marina Reche, this Monday’s guest on ‘La Resistencia’

Perhaps the name of Marina Reche is still quite unknown to the common population. However, the singer is increasingly gaining popularity and strength within the music industry despite not having the showcase of television programs as other artists have had, such as her sister, Alba Reche.

The two boards presented themselves to the selection process for ‘Operación Triunfo 2018’. While Marina was rejected, Alba did end up joining the sixteen chosen ones from the Academy. In fact, she lasted until the end of the contest, finishing in second position ahead of colleagues like Natalia Lacunza, Julia Medina or the Eurovision star Miki Núñez.

“I wasn’t even aware that they had told me no. I lived a very nice experience because I lived my sister’s triumph as if it were my own,” Marina said in an interview published in August 2023 in ‘Los 40′. Since then, it took her a while to find musical inspiration from her until, at the end of 2022, she released her first songs.
