The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Idi Illiassou Mainassara received several kits of various products to fight against diseases with epidemic potential and other diseases.
This donation of approximately 1 billion FCFA is offered by the WHO as part of the constitution of a national and regional stock to fight against epidemics and other diseases.
In speaking, the representative of the WHO indicated that this support for the Ministry of Health follows the call launched by the Minister of Public Health, Population and Social Affairs for partners to the replenishment of epidemic control stocks in preparation for the approaching season.
On behalf of the President of the Republic and the Government, the Minister thanked the WHO for all the efforts. The WHO representative praised the government’s efforts in terms of the satisfactory results obtained in the field of health.
