Some problem areas have to be invented first: The new gold mine of plastic surgery is called “buccal fat” – and this is now being literally dug up. Pronounced “Backal Fät”, we come pretty close to the Austrian expression for the affected part of the face – it’s all regarding the cheeks. As is so often the case, the trend originated in Hollywood. There, the chubby cheeks are disappearing from the faces of many celebrities.
