Why medicines are becoming scarce – economic policy

Quite a few are annoyed these days when they shop in pharmacies. Ironically, at a time when many are suffering from illnesses, numerous medicines are not available. This does not affect high-priced and innovative drugs that are used for more specific diseases – but everyday medicine, mass-produced, if you will: antibiotics, painkillers, fever reducers.
