Some people curse following swimming in the lake these days. In view of the high water temperatures, the duck fleas are thriving once more. At the Seebadi in Rapperswil-Jona, the water is currently around 24 degrees, as pool attendant Andi Trost says. From regarding 20 degrees, the pests are on the move, which are actually not fleas at all, but larvae of flukes (see info box).
