The double wedding celebrated this week in “Here everything begins” was marked by the absence of Célia, the best friend of Eliott and Hortense. Producer Sarah Farahmand explains why Rebecca Benhamour was not present in this plot.

Greg and Eliott, as well as Mehdi and Hortense, finally said “yes” in Here it all begins this Friday on TF1, during an exceptional episode which marked the departure of Nicolas Anselmo and Mikaël Mittelstadt after three years in the series .

This double marriage, whose interpreter Greg commented on the most significant moments for us, allowed the writers of Here it all begins to bring back many secondary characters seen during the first three seasons.

From Greg Delobel (Joseph Malerba) to his wife Delphine (Christelle Reboul), via Eliott’s parents, played by Valérie Baurens and Jean Fornerod, or Hortense’s father, Daniel Rochemont (Pierre Azéma).

However, an important character was missing from this “Best Friends Forever” plot: Célia (Rebecca Benhamour), the best friend of Eliott and Hortense (Catherine Davydzenka), who was not even mentioned during the course. of the episode of the double marriage.

Why did Rebecca Benhamour not return to the series on the occasion of the wedding?

Asked about the absence of the actress, seen recently in Léo Matteï on TF1, producer Sarah Farahmand explained to us that the screenwriters had found themselves faced with a real concern for space, in a plot recounting the marriage of four central figures of the soap opera, and which saw many members of their respective families return.

“It was a double wedding, we had four characters who were getting married, who weren’t secondary characters in the series. We only had 26 minutes to process all that. We saw that their respective families were there, it was already a lot of people. So it was a real concern for space”, admits the producer of Here it all begins.

Of course, the production and TF1 could have offered Rebecca Benhamour to be present among the wedding guests in the July 14 episode, in the form of a simple wink, but Sarah Farahmand explains that it would have been frustrating for everyone. the world and that Célia’s return is a real subject which, the day it materializes, will deserve to be fully addressed.

“If Celia does indeed come back for the wedding of her best friends, that’s a subject. We have to deal with it. She can’t come back just to hand out a bouquet. It would be too frustrating for everyone. We can’t bring Rebecca back if we don’t have anything to play her. So we made this choice to say to ourselves, ‘We already have four characters who are getting married, we have to focus on them first and foremost'”.

While waiting to find, one day perhaps, Célia in Calvières, fans of Rebecca Benhamour will soon be able to find her in the Brocéliande series, in which she portrays the younger version of the heroine played by Nolwenn Leroy. But also in the fiction The school of spies, currently filming for France 2 with Pascal Elbé, Thierry Godard, Joaquim Fossi (Tomorrow belongs to us) or Aymeric Fougeron (Prométhée).

The story of a group of young people – Zana, Inès, Alex, François, Pierre – who have just joined the School of Spies, to learn the strategy and practice of espionage, the history of international intelligence , the handling of weapons, the mastery of modern technologies. A difficult apprenticeship that will be disrupted by the violent intrusion of a foreign service into the school.

Find the sequel to Here it all begins, and a brand new plot dedicated to Axel and the Armand family, Monday to Friday at 6:30 p.m. on ITC and in advance on MyTF1 Max.
