Rubén Darío Viloria Barrios, alias ‘Juancho’, was captured thanks to the collaboration of a woman, who decided to “infiltrate” the life of this drug trafficker wanted by Interpol in an operation of the Metropolitan Police of Montería of Colombia.
The woman was piece key in the capture of Rubén Darío Viloria Barrios, who operated in Córdoba and the Urabá area of Antioquia.
As it became known, the woman —whose name is being withheld— sought a way to approach “Juancho,” who He used the facade of a merchant, a religious practitioner in the municipality of Ciénaga de Oro.

Apparently, the female had suffered the loss of her sentimental partner at the hands of the offender. This would have been the main reason why he decided to intervene in the capture, making the aforementioned drug trafficker fall in love while gathering evidence for the Colombian Police.
In the last year, alias “Juancho” began to take better care of himself and transported himself with a small security scheme, due to the threats he received, which is why he also moved away from social networks.
However, his love for the woman was his weakness and the Police already had indications of his criminal activities since 2020, which were corroborated by the evidence that the informant handed over to the authorities.
In a police intervention, alias ‘Juancho’ was captured on February 11.

Rubén had participated in the multiple homicides in San Carlos at the beginning of the year and in San Bernardo del Viento and Chinúall in Cordoba, Colombia.
The population of his municipality did not believe what was happening, as the Police identified him as one of the “greatest promoters of a drug trafficking network and coordinator of a multi-crime structure of homicides and extortions in the sub-region of Urabá and Córdoba.”
