Vienna (OTS/RK) The scholar Ami Boué, who once lived on Wieden, is the focus of a special exhibition in the Wieden District Museum (4th, Klagbaumgasse 4), which can be seen until Wednesday, November 22nd. The show is entitled “Ami Boué” (1794 – 1881) natural scientist – cosmopolitan – Wiedener by choice” and describes the life and work of the explorer, healer and earth scientist. There will also be lectures. Next date: On Wednesday, September 27th, curator Johannes Seidl will give a lecture on the complex topic “Geology at the time of Ami Boué: the evolution issue”. The exhibition, which consists of several panels with images, texts and writings, can be viewed free of charge on Tuesdays (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and Wednesdays (4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.).
