If you’re remotely present on the real Twitter, you’ll no doubt see a meme in which players take pictures of a Switch console docked with a game disc from another platform resting on top of it; A metaphor for the user’s desire to see a port of said game come to the Switch.

Very funny, we’re sure you’ll agree, but it’s ultimately a harmless way to invite a few likes and retweets. How about trying the opposite? Introducing a wagon shifter into a Wii U drive certainly sounds like a recipe for disaster, and unfortunately, that’s exactly what one North American owner had to deal with after his son got his hands on both systems.

In a Twitter message, the user Jose A Cruz Shared images of a destroyed Wii U console to remove a batch of Switch wagons from the drive. Looking at the pictures, it looks like there are four carts in total, and although you can’t see all of them, you can see that three of the four Wolfenstein II: The New ColossusAnd Mario Party SuperstarsAnd Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Jelly.

No one can guess exactly how this happened. Maybe the owner’s son mistakenly thought Switch Wagons would work on the Wii U? Perhaps it was an act of rebellion? Anyway, we can only imagine the poor owner’s face when he realized where the lost wagons were – to imagine!

Fortunately, it all seemed to end on a high note; In a follow-up tweet, the Wii U drive appears to be working fine and the switch carts have been safely removed without any signs of damage. happy Days!

Let it serve as a cautionary tale, though; If you have children – especially young ones – be sure to keep your valuables out of reach. Switch wagons can taste disgustingBut that doesn’t mean they won’t end up in other hard-to-reach places!
