Bruno Rodriguez Parrillahead of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, today described on Twitter as transcendental the upcoming day of constitution of the National Assembly of People’s Power (Parliament) in its X Legislature, scheduled for April 19.
With the hashtag #AsambleaDelPueblo, the Chancellor expressed his confidence that the determination to fight, face and overcome the difficulties to move forward with creativity, unity and fidelity to the Revolution, will be the compass for the formation of the new Parliament.
“The unwavering determination to fight, to face and overcome difficulties, and to move forward with creativity, unity and fidelity to the Revolution, will guide the transcendental day of constitution of our @AsambleaCuba in its X Legislature. #AsambleaDelPueblo”.
For April 19, at 9:00 am, the Constitutive Session of the National Assembly of People’s Power was convened in its X Legislature.

In that session, the new Legislature will elect its president, vice president, secretary, and other members of the Council of State from among its deputies.
In addition, the President and Vice President of the Republic will be elected; and, at the proposal of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Vice Prime Ministers, the Secretary and other members of the Council of Ministers will be appointed.
