Will BVB stay at the top?
After Bayern’s blunder in Mainz (1:3) and Dortmund’s victory in Frankfurt (4:0), Borussia is once again at the forefront in the fight for the championship. They have a point advantage. Friday night it’s supposed to swell to four for at least one night.
Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl after last week’s win: “This is how we have to play if we want to be up front in the end. The table looks pretty good now. We won an important game, but we have to stay clear and we won’t get overly euphoric.”
Donyell Malen: “It feels really good to be the leader. We have to stay focused now and just play our football.”
And goalkeeper Gregor Kobel makes it clear: “There are still five games in which we are in high demand. We want to watch the last few games.”
