Friday was truly a day of loss for Team India. The hosts lost by 21 runs even though former captain MS Dhoni came to watch the game at the Ranchi ground. Batting first, half-centuries scored by Daryl Mitchell and Devon Conway decided the game. On the other hand, Washington Sundar was the only Indian batting line-up. But in the second Twenty20 in Lucknow, the new rate is expected to do more.
Rahul Tripathi, Deepak Hooda, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, Shivam Mavi and Umran Malik are there to create opportunities along with Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya.
Kuldeep Yadav replaced Yuzvendra Chahal last time. The player also took a wicket. 20 runs were conceded in four overs. Chahal is unlikely to return to replace Kuldeep. However, pacers Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik batted well. It remains to be seen whether one of the two will be removed and Chahal will be given a chance.
