Will Smith praised by Michael Jackson’s nephew for slapping Chris Rock

Michael Jackson’s nephew has thanked Will Smith for his infamous Oscar slap. As a reminder, the actor slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars last year when he made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Strongly criticized for this gesture, the star of “Men in Black” can however count on the support of Taj Jackson, who considers that Chris Rock deserved this slap.

Taj also slammed his latest show “Selective Outrage,” in which Chris Rock compares Michael Jackson to singer R. Kelly. In September, R. Kelly was found guilty of sexual abuse and was sentenced to 31 years in prison. For his part, Michael Jackson has faced accusations of pedophilia during his career. In 2005, the late singer was found not guilty of molesting a teenager at his Neverland ranch.

On Twitter, Taj wrote, “Chris Rock has been using my family for jokes his whole career. And I’m supposed to feel bad after he got slapped and humiliated at the Oscars? After seeing a new clip in which he attack my uncle, I have three things to say 1. What did my family do to you that you harassed them for several decades by disguising it as a joke?

2. The fact that you have been harassed in the past does not mean that you have the right to do the same to others. 3. Thank you, Will Smith.”
