Will the Queen be in a wheelchair soon?

Before they move into Craigowan Lodge, important renovation work has to be done there.

Remodeling work is currently underway at the Queen’s country estate (95) in Scotland. Before they move into Craigowan Lodge, a special wheelchair lift worth £20,000 (about 24,000 euros) is planned, as several insiders told the British “Sun”. Will the Queen need it soon?

The reason for the conversion is the limited mobility of the Queen. In the future, she will be able to use the lift to get to her bedroom in a wheelchair without having to use the stairs. The insiders also report that the Queen relies on her walking stick. Recently, she has not been able to take her beloved corgis for a walk.

She also canceled participation in Commonwealth Day. She may soon have to switch entirely to means of transport.
