Williams F1 Alex Albon unveils new helmet with Red Bull logo[F1-Gate .com]

Williams F1 Alexander Albon unveiled the design of a helmet to compete in the 2022 F1 World Championship.

Alex Albon, who was removed from Red Bull’s regular driver in 2021, will return to F1 from Williams this year after a year of testing and reserve drivers.

Alex Albon, who shakes down Williams F1’s 2022 F1 machine “FW44” last week, unveiled the design of a helmet to fight 2022. Red Bull branding was applied to his forehead and sides.

However, instead of the usual Red Bull branding red and yellow logos, the navy helmet has a white logo.

This is related to the fact that the Thai division of Red Bull, not the Red Bull headquarters, is supporting Alexander Albon as a personal sponsor. Albon has terminated his contract with Red Bull and has been fully transferred to Williams.

In fact, Red Bull does not support Williams, and the previously announced FW44, Racing Shoes and Teamwear do not have the Red Bull logo.

“The only thing I can say is that he will be an official Williams driver without a contract with Red Bull,” said Jost Capito, Williams F1 team representative, at the time of the contract announcement.

“He has a contract with his personal sponsor, Red Bull’s Thai division, throughout his career. He has the right to have a personal sponsor.”
