Willy, second appeal for the Whites on generic extenuating circumstances

For their part, Marco Bianchi’s defenders, the lawyers Leonardo Bianchini and Vannina Zaru have asked for the charge to be downgraded to manslaughter. In the reasons for the appeal sentence, the judges reconstructed the phases of the attack.

For the magistrates “there remains an inalienable fact, reported by all the texts, of the deadly blows launched by Gabriele and Marco Bianchi against Willy. Belleggia’s violent conduct is also certain, consisting in particular in hitting Willy with a kick to the head, in the final phase of the beating”.

In the act with which they justified the recognition of the generic mitigating circumstances, the judges also stated that “it must be considered established that the attack began with the violent kick launched by Gabriele Bianchi to Willy’s chest with a martial arts technique and with such power to push him on his back against a car and which is followed by a punch thrown by Gabriele when the young man tries to get up.
