If you’re lucky, you might win a big jackpot in Lotto 6/49 which reached $60 million in Wednesday evening’s draw.
The guaranteed winner of the draw will have a 1 in 5 chance of winning the jackpot, since there are only 4 white balls remaining, worth $1 million, and the Golden Ball which reached $60 million.
“Let’s hope that luck will once once more be on the side of Quebecers!” declared Isabelle Jean, executive vice-president and chief operating officer of lotteries at Loto-Québec.
The Golden Ball draw has a guaranteed winner in each draw thanks to a unique number on each ticket, with either a prize of $1 million or a prize of up to $68 million.
As with each Lotto 6/49 draw, the classic jackpot, which amounts to $5 million, will also be at stake, the state company said in a press release.
As a reminder, the very first Boule d’or jackpot was won in October 2022 by a resident of Lanaudière, who thus got his hands on $36 million, it was added.
