Windows 10, a scheduled end

During the official announcement of Windows 11, Microsoft also promised to continue supporting Windows 10 until October 2025. This is not necessarily a posture to be welcomed because we are more on an obligation in view of the popularity of this operating system.

Windows 10 is today the first destination for PCtists. Windows 11 comes far behind with a market share that struggles to exceed 20%.

“For customers who are using a PC that won’t be upgraded to Windows 11 and aren’t ready to upgrade to a new device, Windows 10 is the right choice. We will support Windows 10 until October 14, 2025 and recently announced that the next Windows 10 feature update will arrive later this year. Whatever you decide, we are committed to supporting you and giving you choice in your IT journey.”
