One of the largest computer manufacturers in the world, HP, mentions in its documentation the next version of Windows. This is not Windows 12 but a mysterious Windows 11 2024.
The information is interesting because Windows 11 2024 is an unknown version. Naturally the confirmation of this name is in the hands of the Microsoft marketing team but HP does not fail to fuel the speculation mill here. The firm also mentions Windows 11 “24H2” in other documents which for its part has been repeatedly put forward by rumors. This is Windows 11 Feature Update 2024. 24H2 refers to a period with 24 for the year 2024 and H2 for the second half of the year.
Note that 24H2 can also be called “Windows 11 2024 Update” when it is launched. Microsoft is known for using these two nomenclatures. Did HP confuse the two versions? Difficult to decide at the moment. The firm explains that this update will be necessary to take advantage of Wi-Fi 7 (802.11BE). The giant also mentions a Core or Core Ultra processor and a compatible router.
