It is somehow understandable that Microsoft wants to increase the spread of Windows 11. One would like to end support for the predecessor, i.e. Windows 10, as early as October 2025. The stupid thing regarding it: This is still the clearly dominant version of the operating system. According to the current figures from Statcounter, it is currently found on more than two thirds of all computers with the Microsoft operating system. Windows 11, on the other hand, hasn’t even made it past the 20 percent mark.
