A Microsoft should bring native support for Wi-Fi 7 technology in Windows 11 still in 2024. The expectation is that the new feature will reach all users of the operating system in version 24H2, which should be released in the second half of this year.

Devices compatible with Wi-Fi 7 have already started to be sold, but the current public version of Windows 11 is not compatible with the technology. Microsoft is working to provide support and testing is already being done with beta testers.

Currently, Windows 11 is not able to fully utilize the faster speeds and other benefits that Wi-Fi 7 offers. It is worth mentioning that the new generation of technology promises to be up to 4x faster than Wi-Fi 6, with multi-gigabit connections.

Furthermore, the Wi-Fi 7 has a fine latency smallerwhich should significantly improve the gaming and video conferencing experience, which should be much more fluid, with better performance and responsiveness.
