The winner of the 13th season of the TV show “Battle of Psychics” Dmitry Volkhov (real name – Burikov) was detained “on suspicion of preparing to join the Russian Volunteer Corps, which is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” About it
According to TASS, the arrest was carried out by employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
“With the support of special forces, searches were conducted on Thursday at several addresses in Moscow and Burikov was detained, as well as at least three other people on suspicion that they were preparing to leave for Ukraine to join the Russian Volunteer Corps,” TASS quoted an anonymous interlocutor as saying.
Recall that during the filming of the program “The Battle of Psychics” Dmitry Volkhov called himself a “Slavic pagan magician”, “a follower of the cult of Veles.”
After the show, he gained fame, which he then successfully monetized. Volkhov positioned himself as a businessman, held “destiny management seminars” for his fans.
