‘Winners in the US and Japan’ Ji Eun-hee and Lee Min-young participate in the KLPGA Hanwha Classic

Ji Eun-hee and Lee Min-young will show off the momentum of winning the American and Japanese stages on the stage in their home country.

The Korea Women’s Professional Golf (KLPGA) Tour Major Tournament Hanwha Classic 2022 Organizing Committee announced on the 17th that Ji Eun-hee and Lee Min-young will participate as overseas special invited players.

Ji Eun-hee won her 6th career in the Bank of Hope Match Play on the LPGA Tour last May. Lee Min-young became the first Korean player of the season to win the Japan Women’s Professional Golf (JLPGA) Tour Meiji Cup on the 7th. Kim In-kyung and Shin Ji-eun, who are active on the LPGA Tour as part of the Hanwha Q Cells Golf Team, will also participate in the Hanwha Classic as recommended players.

The Hanwha Classic, which will be held for the first time in three years due to the spread of Corona 19, will be held at Jade Palace Golf Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, with a total prize of 1.4 billion won for 4 days from the 25th. Tickets are sold at Ticket24, a ticketing platform specializing in the KLPGA Tour.
