Doha: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change has announced that the winter camping season in Qatar will start from November 1. The season in the northern and central regions of the country will last till April 1, 2023.
The authorities have decided to postpone camping in the southern areas (Sealine and Khor Al Udeid) until 20 December 2022 and extend it until 20 May 2023.
Registration for all regions this year will be held from 16th to 27th October 2022 in three separate phases:
*Registration for Southern Regions (Sealine, Khor Al Adaid): October 16 to October 19
*Registration for camping in central areas: October 20 to October 23
*Northern areas: October 24 to October 27
Registration can be done through the official website of the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and the municipality or through the Aoun smartphone application.
