The black and silver colors recorded a prominent presence in the designs of the Winter 2023 collections, as international fashion houses presented various dresses that were characterized by strength and softness. Lebanese fashion designer Ziad Nakad presented a collection inspired by ancient civilizations in the Middle East, in which he mixed between Eastern and Indian lines, to make the dresses appear as if they belonged to a princess who lived in a long period of time, which gave his fashion a human and civilized dimension.
Speaking to Al-Ittihad, Ziad Nakad stated that he chose to present each dress with a different story characterized by boldness and high taste, especially since most women who are keen to wear his designs have a strong personality and are looking for distinction, difference and the civilized dimension of the piece.

Naked used the style of mosaic art in his winter dresses, and they appeared as pieces of “puzzles” that were assembled to turn into precious jewelry or a painting that collects the best designs. The black and silver colors appeared in most dresses because they are associated with winter like the rest of the dark colors, and their pieces were light and soft to allow them to be worn quickly.
With many women relying on online shopping to obtain such light pieces, Nakad presented in his collection everything that a modern woman is looking for, and moved away from strong embroideries to offer clothes suitable for girls and women who prefer bright colors because they make them feel presence and launch.

International fashion houses presented a variety of winter fashion, some of which relied on clothes with large and slanted shoulders, and on pieces of clothing that turn into a thick coat, while relying on false fur in more than one view, and focusing on the use of thin fabrics in evening dresses. The suit was reintroduced this year with minor modifications to make it more comfortable.

The red color appeared in many collections, along with pastels and dark colors, and was present in the Italian fashion shows, and was not limited to dresses only, but also to the corset and the accompanying accessories. One of the brands raised the slogan “Towards more adventure and exploration”, and this was evident in the reliance on strong embroideries distinctive on the old traditional dresses.
