Winter seems (finally) over in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

It will still have required a good dose of patience, with two storms in the last week.

Only Wednesday there was snow, rain, drizzle and a lot of wind.

Except that the next few days are promising.

From Sunday to Wednesday, the mercury might reach 8, 13, 16 and 19 degrees.

Records might be broken.

“It’s really a paradigm shift, we’re entering spring. The winter dragged on a bit, it’s normal for winter in early April, but we had good systems and lots of snow. There, the temperatures, even at night, will remain positive. It can lead to very significant melting.”
