Driver, waiter, deliverer, cook, host… For the Rugby World Cup, the Proman interim group is looking for 5,000 candidates to provide services during the competition. And for that, it employs the big means: the group launches a campaign of “street sourcing”: recruitment in full street. The kick-off was given on Friday on the forecourt of Gare Saint-Lazare, in Paris. Under a beautiful sun and with rugby balls and other small gifts to be won, passers-by begin to flock to the Proman stand.

A “World Cup” label that seduces

And the recruiters are busy: “You don’t have your CV by any chance?” ; “If I have a CV!”, Answers a first interested party. For François, Rose, and Louis, the Rugby World Cup is timely. “I’m in a period of retraining. When I saw the theme of the stand, it caught my eye. In the world of sport, it’s something that I might like”, explains François. “Welcome, sales, logistics… I’m a little versatile. I’m up for all the jobs that could be offered to me,” adds her friend Rose.

“I saw Proman, Rugby World Cup, I came straight away. If it’s in the Rugby World Cup and I can see the matches, I’m happy. To earn money and watching matches at the same time… Yes, that’s cool!” Louis concludes.

Already 1,000 potential candidates

For Michael Cerniot, key account manager at Proman, it is necessary think outside the box in recruitment to attract more candidates. “We were the first to go on networks like Twitch, TikTok. And there, we have already received people who in five minutes tell us ‘here I am going to submit my CV. Call me, I may be interested’. So it It’s really about going as close as possible to people who want to work, directly in the street”, he explains.

And the 5,000 jobs could find takers very quickly. In one day, nearly 1,000 potential candidates visited the stand of the interim group.
