DENVER (AP) — Nikola Jokic had 32 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds, Michael Porter Jr. scored a season-high 30 points and the Denver Nuggets beat the Houston Rockets 134-124 on Wednesday in the game that marked Jamal Murray’s return from a hamstring injury.

Murray contributed 16 points following missing Denver’s last 11 games. After starting 6-1 with Murray, the Nuggets were 6-5 without their guard.

It was the third straight win for the defending NBA champion Nuggets, who had lost four of five before this streak.

Jokic, who missed Monday’s game once morest the Los Angeles Clippers due to a lower back injury, recorded his seventh triple-double of the season.

Denver lost twice to Houston in November, including a 19-point loss to the Rockets five days earlier. But the Nuggets have the NBA’s best home record of 9-0, while the Rockets are 0-7 on the road.
