It seems that the Russian-Ukrainian crisis will cause a rise in the prices of many car models and many brands, and the local agent of the Chinese brand “BAIC” in Egypt has announced a new price increase for the X7 model, as part of the agent’s price increases campaign on the company’s models.
Technical performance of the 2022 BAIC X7 in Egypt
The agent added, in his statement, that the new “BAIC” X7 car, which belongs to the category of multi-use sports cars, will come among the most expensive models of the company in the Egyptian market, and its price has increased by a value ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 pounds, and the BAIC X7 is derived from the 2022 model, Its power comes from a four-cylinder 1500 cc turbo engine that produces 188 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque.
The new “BAIC” car includes a package of distinctive features and additions, as it contains automatic door locking in case of movement, unlocking doors in the event of a collision, speeding warning, child safety lock, emergency brake, theft alarm, rear camera, driver attention monitoring system and seat belt warning. It also has an auto hold, blind spot system, electric parking brake and cruise control.
With regard to the safety and security specifications of the new “BAIC” car, it contains 8 airbags, multiple brakes, 12 distributed sensors and 8 cameras, and it is equipped with smart self-assistance systems for the car with self-parking, self-driving in crowded roads, cruise control, and determining the direction of the car without holding the steering wheel. And front airbags, rear parking sensors, immobilizer, ABS and EBD brakes, brake assist, and places for child seats in the back.
With regard to the prices of the leading car “BAIC” X7 model 2022 in the Egyptian market as follows:
The first category: “Automatic” Elite at a price of 507 thousand pounds instead of 497 thousand pounds, an increase of 10 thousand pounds
The second category: “Automatic” premium at a price of 598 thousand pounds instead of 568 thousand pounds, an increase of 30 thousand pounds.
