The research of the Datafolha shows that only 50% of small companies create medium-term strategies. Good planning, however, can change the course of a business. Thinking about how to help companies, boosting enterprises and increasing profits, the Management Agency created the Integrated Business Planning Program (PIPE) method. With the methodology applied, the company can grow by 10% to 15% per month.

The objective of PIPE is to help entrepreneurs boost their business. It is a program aimed at business planning, where companies go through some necessary steps to guarantee better results, with less effort.

Divided into five pillars: culture, planning, results, people and processes, Mariana explains that “PIPE was carefully designed to make companies prosper and, from that, make intelligent decisions and increase business profits”, says Mariana Angeli, partner at the Management Agency and responsible for the Customer Success area.

In the last five years, PIPE has already transformed the reality of more than 70 small and medium-sized companies. In the module, the entrepreneur has access to the Excellence Thermometer, which allows the business to be diagnosed, understanding what takes more time, what generates more results, what can be discontinued because it does not produce results, if there is something that can be delegated or outsourced and the reason for the challenges of the enterprise.

5 pillars capable of transforming a business

In the PIPE method, the entrepreneur learns how to create, from beginning to end, strategic planning. Following the five pillars, the first, culture, defines what behaviors and attitudes the entrepreneur wants within the company. “This creates clarity for the entrepreneur and the team regarding values”, points out Mariana.

Planning is what brings intelligence to the company’s day-to-day operations, according to the Management Agency partner. In this topic, the PIPE method helps the entrepreneur to design their objectives and understand the company’s finances, to then make more assertive decisions, according to the client’s reality. The next stage is results, in which the Journey of Goals begins. “We measure, together with the client, whether they are going in the right direction and at the speed they want. We identify situations before they become problems and adjust the route precisely”, highlights Mariana.

When it comes to people, it is extremely important to understand the reality of the business, what the desired employee profile is, when it is time to hire and how to hire someone. Mariana explains that it is necessary to identify what skills are needed for the company. “And here we talk not only about technical skills, but also emotional ones. It is essential to have a team that is aligned with the company’s values, so the recruitment process needs to be done with a lot of analysis and patience.”

Finally, Mariana explains that just as the PIPE method is a trail for an entire journey, each company also has its own journey. “It is important to understand and map this entire process, not only to look for possible improvements, but to find opportunities”, she concludes.
